Description

Quite possibly the most iconic film camera out there, the Canon AE-1 is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera for use with interchangeable lenses. It was manufactured by Canon in Japan from April 1976 to 1984. It uses an electronically controlled, electromagnet horizontal cloth focal plane shutter, with a speed range of 2 to 1/1000 second plus Bulb and flash X-sync of 1/60 second. Additionally, this camera is somewhat rare in black paint. I also have the parts to swap it to silver (these parts are actually in better condition) at the buyer’s request.

Key features: Shutter-priority auto exposure, full manual control, bright viewfinder.
Compatibility: Canon FD lenses, A-Series Auto Winder.
Batteries: A544/4LR44 6V cell.
Condition: Average wear for its age, all functions working properly. I actually rebuilt this unit from several other AE-1’s using all the best parts.
Included: Canon AE-1 35mm SLR (Black), FD 50mm f/1.8 S.C., batteries
