Description
Quite possibly the most iconic film camera out there, the Canon AE-1 Program was released in 1981. It uses an electronically controlled, electromagnet horizontal cloth focal-plane shutter, with a speed range of 2 to 1/1000 second plus Bulb and flash X-sync of 1/60 second. The AE-1 Program updated the AE-1 with features from the A-1 (1978), most notably adding a program exposure (full auto) metering mode.
