Description
This camera is a version of the X-7, which had been redesigned with Minolta’s “rising sun” logo. It has the shortened shutter-time scale in the viewfinder of the XG-1 but is equipped with an ‘Acute Matte’ focusing screen. In contrast to the Japan-only X-7, this was an export model for the North American market. It was the latest member of the XG family, being introduced in 1982, and available in chrome finish.
