Description
The Rolleiflex 2.8E is a classic 1956 medium format twin-lens reflex camera cherished by photographers and collectors alike. Known for its superb build quality and exceptional image performance, this iconic camera features a bright f/2.8 Xenotar lens and a waist-level viewfinder, offering a unique shooting experience that captures stunningly detailed square-format images. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a vintage camera enthusiast, the Rolleiflex 2.8E is a timeless masterpiece that continues to inspire creativity and appreciation for the art of photography.
The taking lens of this camera has a small scratch on the front which does not affect the image, but there is a decent amount of haze inside of the lens that does affect the image. It gives a noticeable glow, not dissimilar to a 1/1 Pro-Mist filter. Honestly, it’s a solid creative effect giving images extra character and a classic, timeless nature, but I always want to fully disclose details like this. Priced accordingly. Mechanically, this unit is functioning perfectly. Shutter speeds are accurate and everything works as expected.
